If you aim at nothing, you'll hit it every time. Think about that. Isn't it time we try going somewhere instead of waiting to see where we end up?
The focus of the AAB will be
LCA's Standards for Chapter Excellence. Each advisor and each officer will have a copy of the standards for their office. Working with the active membership, we will set goals for the chapter. Then, working one-on-one with the undergraduate officers, we will set goals for each office, aimed at meeting the chapter's overall goals and ultimately reaching that "Standard of Excellence."
The difference between success and failure will lie in the follow-up. As a member of the AAB, you'll only have to meet face-to-face
with your assigned officer a few times a year. Most of your contact will be by phone or email. You will be the one who offers the
word of encouragement (or if necessary, the kick in the pants) to make sure things are moving, and moving in the right direction.
You'll also have plenty of opportunities to share your experience and wisdom with a young brother who's standing at the foot of a mountain you've already climed.
